Honolulu Sertoma Club Donates Hearing Health Tech to Lyon Arboretum

The Honolulu Sertoma Club has generously donated funds to Lyon Arboretum for an assistive listening device system! The new assistive listening devices will be beneficial in helping those with hearing impairments to better understand the value of the Arboretum to our community.

The ListenTALK Base-4 System includes portable transceiver units with excellent range. With this system, Lyon Arboretum will be able to engage those with hearing impairments through guided audio tours as they peruse the Arboretum’s vast collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants.

The Honolulu Sertoma Club belongs to the Wild West District of the Mountain West Region of Sertoma International. Sertoma’s primary focus is on assisting the more than 50 million people with hearing health issues and educating the public regarding hearing health.

Mahalo Honolulu Sertoma Club!
